I have put together a list of the top 10 most amazing wedding venues around Columbia, SC.

  1. Adams Pond

The Millstone at Adams Pond is a gorgeous restored brick home nestled between an iconic pond and creek. It’s the epitome of Southern culture in South Carolina. The staff is incredible and you will immediately feel at home. We have photographed more weddings here than any other venue, it’s basically a second home!

2. 1208 Washington

Centrally located in the heart of downtown Columbia, near South Carolina’s historic state capital. The neighborhood boasts a diverse scene that includes businesses, restaurants, outdoor cafes, nightlife, and some of the best hotel accommodations in town just across the street. For those wanting an urban, sophisticated venue in downtown Columbia. The old bank vault is the standout feature. We love photographing weddings here and having Main St. as the backdrop!]

3. Historic Columbia

Historic Columbia event rentals run the Hampton-Preston Gardens, Seibels House, Woodrow Wilson Home, and more. If you want an intimate garden setting with gorgeous, unique views and interesting history, this is where you want to be.

4. Riverroad and Jasmine House

Built at the turn of the 20th century, the River Road House and the Jasmine House are two separate spaces within one venue that have been restored with all the amenities of today, while maintaining the southern charm and architectural splendor of the early 1900’s. We have been photographing weddings here ever since the beginning of our career and it’s one of our favorites, especially because now we live 5 minutes away! They have incredible customer service and an all-inclusive experience.

5. Riverbanks Zoo

Looking for a unique and memorable venue for your big day? Riverbanks offers a variety of options for all types of weddings. From ceremonies as small as 15 guests and as large as 500, weddings at Riverbanks will be sure to impress! We love exploring the zoo as guests so of course we are very familiar with the location and either side (garden or animals) makes for a perfect backdrop for your wedding!

6. Oakbrook Farms

The perfect setting for an outdoor farm wedding with a modern design. The farm is family owned and operated and they are truly the kindest people!

7. 701 Whaley

This is one of Columbia’s most classic and sought-after venues for a reason. We have been photographing and filming weddings here since the beginning of our dating journey, more than 10 years ago! Be sure to check out the new pool room for a very amazing new look.

8. The Farm at Ridgeway

The Farm at Ridgeway is a perfect backdrop for any special occasion, offering a charming rural setting, without compromising on quality.Of course we had to include this one becuase this one was our own wedding venue, in March 2015! Every time we drive onto the property we get hit with a wave of emotions remembering our own day.

9. Columbia Museum of Art

Located in heart of downtown Columbia, the CMA’s close proximity to restaurants, hotels, salons, and more means easier planning and more convenience for you and your guests.
The art creates a one-of-a-kind backdrop for breathtaking photos and memorable events. As a former art teacher, I will never grow tired of weddings at the Columbia Museum of Art.
