Emily and Constantine’s wedding at Hampton-Preston Mansion and Gardens in Columbia, South Carolina, was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and vibrant joy. Set against the backdrop of one of Columbia’s most historic estates, their day was filled with heartfelt moments, Greek traditions, and bold, beautiful florals that perfectly reflected their personalities.

These two have the sweetest love story! Emily and Constantine met while working together at Zorba’s Greek Restaurant, which just so happens to be owned by Constantine’s family. What started as coworkers and friends soon grew into something more, and years later, they got engaged while traveling through Greece, surrounded by the very culture and scenery that brought them together in the first place.

Hampton-Preston Mansion and Gardens Wedding Venue in Columbia, SC

Their Hampton-Preston Mansion and Gardens wedding embraced the natural beauty of the venue with its lush greenery, blooming gardens, and stately Southern architecture.

Despite a brief downpour right before the ceremony (a true test of patience for any bride!), the skies cleared just in time, revealing glistening leaves and soft light that made everything look even more magical.

The property itself is truly a Columbia, SC gem. The recently renovated mansion features elegant design and fresh plantings throughout the estate. The expansive back lawn creates a perfect open-air ceremony or reception space, while the restored mid-1800s arboretum-style side gardens offer paved walking paths and intimate corners for portraits. Guests were enchanted by the fountain garden, surrounded by seating under live oak trees, and the romantic gazebo garden, which provided a lovely shaded area for mingling during cocktail hour. A Vibrant and Wedding at Hampton-Preston Mansion and Gardens

Emily and her mother planned every detail together, creating a day that felt deeply personal and beautifully intentional. Every corner of the event burst with color! From the bold reds, oranges, and pinks of the wedding florals to the delicate gold accents and rich textures throughout the décor; the day flowed with joyful energy, laughter, and of course, plenty of dancing.

In true Greek fashion, Zorba’s catered the wedding. This brought a delicious taste of home to every guest. After heartfelt toasts, the night turned into a lively celebration filled with Greek dancing, clinking glasses, and the kind of joy that only comes when surrounded by family, friends, and good food.

Emily and Constantine share a love for travel, adventure, and celebrating life’s moments together, and their wedding was a perfect reflection of that spirit, vibrant, warm, and unforgettable.
