Madisyn and Jake’s story is one we loved capturing as Columbia, SC wedding photographers because it began right here in the heart of the city. They met at the University of South Carolina in 2018 while running against each other for Sales Club President — and even though Madisyn won, the real prize was finding each other. After college, they both joined NetSuite but ended up in different states: Jake in Austin, Texas, and Madisyn in Chicago, Illinois. When the pandemic hit, Madisyn decided to move to Austin and called Jake for advice. He picked her up from the airport, took her out for welcome drinks, and they’ve been together ever since. Now, years later, they’re returning to Columbia to celebrate their marriage where it all began. Their relationship is full of laughter, travel, and shared adventures — from cheering for the New York Mets to taking long rides on Jake’s motorcycle.
