Winter Wedding at Senate’s End in Columbia, SC

Patti and Chris’s wedding felt like a full-circle Columbia love story, and we were so honored to capture it. They met through a friend at USC—Patti was on the swimming and diving team, and Chris is a Columbia native—so it’s no surprise they’re both huge Gamecock fans. From the beginning, this city has been part of their story, and now it’s the place they call home together. Patti describes Chris as sweet, goofy, and grounding (even when her nerves kick in), and the two of them bring out the best in each other. After a few years of long distance while Patti was in grad school in Alabama—where she adopted their pup Founder (yes, named after Founders Park!)—they reunited in Columbia in 2020 and have been planning their future ever since. Their wedding at Senate’s End was full of joy, laughter, and sweet details that showed off their personality and love for their city. The weather gave us beautiful light, and every moment felt personal—from the floral touches to the late-night dancing.
