Sarah Kate and Harrison – Adams Pond, SC Wedding

Harrison and Sarah Kate met while they were in college at USC. They were both involved in the college ministry at their church and met at an event during the first week of school Harrison’s freshman year. They were friends for a few years until the summer after Sarah Kate graduated, when Harrison decided to make “his move”. “His move” was asking Sarah Kate if he could park at my house to walk to his summer class (which was over a mile from her house). His best scheme was pouring out his water bottle on his walk back to my house so that he could knock on my door to ask for water. They started hanging out one on one, but Sarah Kate was oblivious to his efforts until he finally asked her on a date. Over the next couple of years, they got to know each other so much better and shared a lot of funny, special moments. In March 2023, Harrison proposed while they were hanging out with two of their closest friends. While Sarah Kate was suspicious that the proposal was happening, She did not know that Harrison had planned a sweet party with lots of their friends and had invited Sarah Kates whole family from Georgia 🙂 It was the best night!
